Everyone is familiar with the CE mark, the European Union conformity symbol found on goods ranging from toys to electronic equipment. The CE mark denotes product properties, which must comply with the relevant European standards, thus facilitating free trade within the European Union and the sale of products in all EU countries (and beyond).

Previously a manufacturer had to have individual tests conducted for each country in which it wanted to sell its products in order to comply with that country‘s regulations. Today it need only provide the evidence required to obtain the CE mark once, provided that the European standard is accepted in the country in question.

Catnic GmbH manufactures metal plasterers laths and beads complying with Construction Products Directive 89/106/EC. The following systems are covered under our Statement of Conformity:

Angle protection beads with organic coating and expansion joint profiles complying with Annex ZA of EN 13658-1:2005 - for internal plasterwork.
Angle protection beads with organic coating and expansion joint profiles complying with Annex ZA of EN 13658-2:2005 - for external plasterwork.
System 4 Statement of Conformity
Flat metal plasterers laths, expanded rib metals (standard ribs), angle protection beads, stop beads and wall connectors complying with Annex ZA of EN 13658-1:2005 - for internal plasterwork.
Flat metal plasterers laths, expanded rib metals (standard ribs), angle protection beads, stop beads and wall connectors complying with Annex ZA of EN 13658-2:2005 - for external plasterwork.

The following features are key to the quality of our plasterers beads:

1 a sendzimir galvanised steel sheets or slit strips with both sides coated in 275 g/m2 zinc
light metal strips and sheets in aluminium special alloy (31037) and acrylic coated aluminium
stainless steel slit strip 1.4301
